OS3d Changes
In my ongoing efforts to make our raids run as smoothly and as fairly as possible, I'm going to be implementing a few changes to the OS3d run we (usually) do on Thursdays.
First, We will be introducing a Suicide Kings style loot system. This upcoming week (assuming we fill out with no "random" pugs), everyone interested in obtaining the Reins of the Black Drake will /roll. This will start the list. In the following weeks, anyone joining the group will join at the bottom of the list. If more than one person joins us in a given week, they will /roll to determine what order they come into the bottom of the list. The drake will be given out in this order, the bags are still available for /roll each week.
Second, I will start giving out 300 EP for this run, standby will be available. This is to encourage people who already have the drake to come, or people who may be near the bottom of the list. Remember if you are still on the list and do not show, you do not advance up the list.
My final (and most important) topic today is our attendance. It's complete shit. I'm right on the edge of instituting an attendance minimum and getting all crazy with recruitment, even for some of our senior members. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday have always been our raid days. This isn't anything new. If you can't make our raid days, then your raid spot might be in jeopardy, and please don't come crying to me when you didn't get a raid spot reserved for you when you only show up on one night. The calendar events are just there to let everyone know whats going on, they are not a "opt out" form. We raid 3 nights a week. If you can't make those raid nights, then I'm going to have to recruit some one who can. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Icecrown Citadel schedule
As we continue to push our way into the Lower Spire of Icecrown Citadel, we will have to focus our efforts to be effective against the Lich Kings minions.... was the RP too much?
Ok, back to reality. To make our raiding more efficient, we're going to split the raid team temporarily. One group will be tackling Icecrown, the other will be in Trial of the Crusader, honing their skills, and optimizing their gear. Its my intentions to get everyone in ICC as quickly as possible, so any heroics and emblem farming you can do on off-nights will only hasten you into Arthas' fortress (ok had to put a little more).
Right now I've got ICC schedule on Wednesday night, continuing Monday night, and ToC on Thursday night. I understand you can get the ToC level gear from heroic farming now, however you can't get a full set, as many items aren't available from badges. We'll use ToC as a chance to get a quick 15 Emblems of Triumph for the raiders, a few useful drops, and giving everyone a chance to better their raiding skills with the challenges there.

Grats on Onyxia and ToC!
Great job tonight everyone! Ony's dead and ToC is clear! I've got a video of Anub'arak uploading, which isn't the most clean kill but it works.
If you weren't in the raid tonight I urge you to please read up on the fights, particularly Faction Champions and Twin Valkyr's. I look forward to our hard modes while we wait for Icecrown Citadel!

Updated Trial of the Crusader Strategies
I'll post some 10 man video's from Tankspot (I think they have all of them except Anub'arak up now) so this post can be a central place to come get up to speed on the encounters. Lets put particular emphasis on Faction Champions because PvP sucks balls.

Northrend Beast and Lord Jaraxxus
I'll keep this short till I buy a new keyboard, but awesome job last night guys!
Video's are in the works, screenshots for now!

Raid Scheduling Changes
Be on the look out for upcoming raids to be posted in game at least a week in advance for sign ups. Its likely that these raids wont always be on the same nights each week, but I will try my best to maintain the traditional Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday/Monday schedule everyone is used to having.
If there are any nights you know you wont ever be available (on a regular basis), please get a hold of me and let me know you preferred nights.
Please try to sign up on the in-game calendar as soon as you know your availability.
