Northrend Beast and Lord Jaraxxus
I'll keep this short till I buy a new keyboard, but awesome job last night guys!
Video's are in the works, screenshots for now!
Patch 3.2 is upon us!
Blizzard managed to squeeze this one out faster than anyone expected. I'm going to cover a few of the more important-to-the-guild details here, as well as a few of my personal favorites.
Raiding changes:
Dungeon and Raid ID Extensions
- In order to allow for parties and raids to progress through instances at their own pace, players can now extend an instance ID on an individual basis.
- Existing or recently expired IDs can be extended via the Social tab under Raid by clicking on Raid Info.
- The ID of any instance to which a player is saved can be extended. Doing so will extend the instance lock period by the same amount of time as the original lock (i.e. extending an Ulduar instance ID will add 7 days, a Heroic: Halls of Lightning instance ID will add 24 hours, and a Zul'Gurub instance ID will add 3 days to the instance lock time).
- An ID can be extended more than once.
- An extension can be reversed on an individual basis provided the player does not do anything in the instance during the extended instance lock period that would save that player to the instance.
This is great news for us, particularly now that we're knocking on Yogg-Saron's forehead. Lets hope we get to him quickly this week and can get some progress made on his froggy face.
Emblem System Changes
This is another great change, with any kind of modifications to the guild roster, you always have new players, and this change will allow us to quickly "catch up" any new players, or rerolls/alts that may be behind the gear curve.
General game changes:
Deathknight Tanking Nerfs/Paladin Tanking Buffs
woot! Take that Kelemvore!
I think those are the most relevant to the guild. For full patch notes and information check out MMO-Champion.
BTW, I hate Tuesdays, especially when I'm off work.
General Vezax
Grats on General Vezax tonight guys! Hopefully we coast through to him this upcoming week and get some more time with our new friend Yogg-Saron!
Btw I should be updating this with a better resolution thumb/link tomorrow.
With us very rapidly approaching the end of Ulduar, it's time for everyone to take a look at the hard mode encounters. We've already been knocking down FL+2 consistently, and I'd like our next targets to be FL+3, Heartbreaker, and I Choose You, Runemaster Molgeim. We already have pages for the first two, and I'll try to get a wiki page up for the Iron Council hard mode as soon as possible.
More updates!
Reminding everyone that the Wiki is up and available for anybody wishing to post. Feel free to make pages for anything you'd like, just try to keep the important info accurate and organized. Additionally feel free to add links to the front page for any good pages you find or add.
I added pages for our policies and overview and our EPGP explanation.
Edit: I fail at HTML today.
Raiding schedule updates
With our transition back to 10 mans, we are going to have two groups running each week. During the initial weeks I'm going to appreciate everyones understanding while we get everything sorted out. Hopefully starting next week we'll be able to fill out our second group and everything will be running smooth.
Additionally we've got a few raid spots left open, so if you've got any friends that are not guilded, feel free to nudge them and send them my way!
Forums online!
Just chiming in to let you guys know the forums are up and running again. They are available at http://forums.fury-untold.com so if you want to keep it bookmarked use that address.
If you have any trouble with the forums, please post them in the comments here.
Hopefully I should be posting soon with a guide on guild member submissions, as well as updating a few wiki pages with new info!
See you guys in Ulduar tonight!
New site!
Hey guys, as you may have noticed the guild site looks a little different!
We're going to go with a new format for guild announcements. Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to register with this new system. After you register you'll be able to comment, as well as author new posts that can appear right here on the front page (after approval).
Dont worry, the forums will still be available, however we're trying to migrate everything from there to either here, or the wiki.
Expect a lot of new info to pop up here over the next few days, and some tweaks to the layout and design of what we have here. Feel free to leave an suggestions in a comment!
PS - Yes, I know the forum link at the top doesn't work right now, blame the internet for slow DNS registration. Forums should be available shortly.
